Shirebunnies
My imagination is overflowing with more ideas for LOTR stories than I will ever have time to write. Therefore, one of my greatest joys is giving away to other folks ideas for stories ('plot bunnies'). Toward that end, I have archived more than 200 'Shirebunnies' at a special LiveJournal:
This journal houses LOTR plot bunnies, free for the taking. There are absolutely no strings, restrictions, or time limits on bunnies. It's all right to change them completely, use different characters, any genre, any rating... they're simply offered in the hopes of inspiring ideas.
Melilot Hill most kindly created a website for 'Shirebunnies', which lists the same plot bunnies in chronological order by book. In addition, many stories inspired by 'Shirebunnies' are linked here.
